DK Metcalf Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

DK Metcalf’s temper once again got the better of him Sunday when he got ejected over a scuffle with San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner.

The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver was ejected in the fourth quarter after quarterback Drew Lock threw a game-ending interception to Warner. Metcalf, the intended receiver, tried to tackle Warner, but after an initial struggle, the wide receiver essentially tried to suplex his opponent.

Warner did not like that and had some words for Metcalf upon getting to his feet. Metcalf responded by grabbing Warner by the facemask with both hands.

Metcalf was ejected for obvious reasons. 49ers DB Deommodore Lenoir was also tossed from the game after a resulting on-field scrum.

Metcalf has a reputation for losing his cool and pulling dirty moves when things are not going well for him and his team. That was very much the case here. Metcalf has disputed whether his temper can be a problem, but few would back him up on that at this point.
