WWE

After a nice showing at WrestleMania, does retired former Philadelphia Eagle Jason Kelce have a WWE future if he wants one?

Jason Kelce was a star on Lincoln Financial Field for 13 years as the Philadelphia Eagles starting center. He went to Pro Bowls and Super Bowls and is a Philly legend. His speech in full Mummer regalia during the Eagles Super Bowl victory parade will never be forgotten. As he entered retirement, he knew he would have no shortage of other job opportunities. He is an engaging personality and a larger than life character.

And speaking of larger than life characters, Kelce and former linemate Lane Johnson donned masks and popped the home town crowd by helping Rey Mysterio and Andrade win their WrestleMania match. But, could the future NFL Hall of Famer do more with WWE? Does Jason Kelce have a WWE future?

Maybe SummerSlam?

When the questions was posed, at least some immediately said yes. Whether Kelce would pursue that versus a broadcasting option that does not require bumping remains to be seen. It has to be said that both Kelce and Johnson went to great lengths to respect the wrestling business, doing extensive training ahead of their appearance. That says a lot, considering that they didn’t have to do all that much. It is also worth pointing out that there is another golden opportunity for WWE and Jason Kelce: SummerSlam.

Kelce is from Cleveland, Ohio. Cleveland is the host city for this year’s SummerSlam. It is a long way off, sort of, but would be a logical next big appearance for the popular personality.TMZ reported that WWE does have interest in working with him again. The Miz, another Cleveland native, even offered to train him.
