Dolphins head coach Brian Flores confirms Tua Tagovailoa will practice without limitations

Tua Tagovailoa is ready to go.

Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores confirmed Wednesday that the rookie quarterback has passed his physical and will practice without limitations once workouts resume, according to ESPN's Cameron Wolfe.

Tagovailoa arguably could have been the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft before sustaining a hip injury that caused him to miss a majority of the 2019 season.

Before being injured, he threw for 2,840 yards with 33 touchdowns and three interceptions. He was primed to have a solid campaign, but unfortunately, things didn't work out that way.

While Ryan Fitzpatrick currently is Miami's starting quarterback, Tagovailoa certainly will cause Flores to have to make a tough decision come Week 1.

If Tagovailoa impresses during camp and wins the job, the Dolphins are going to look very different once the season begins.
