Even though he is not among the performers at this year’s Super Bowl, Drake might definitely have the most to gain from it.

The Grammy-winning rap artist revealed on Instagram this week that he is making a huge bet on the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI. In Canadian dollars, Drake is betting $600,000 on the Rams moneyline, $500,000 on Rams receiver Odell Beckham to go over 62.5 yards receiving and another $500,000 on Beckham to score a touchdown. That is a total of $1.6 million in Canadian dollars, equivalent to more than $1.25 million in U.S. dollars.

With Drake having an estimated net worth of $200 million and counting (in U.S. dollars), this is probably just play money for him. The “Take Care” star is known for living the high life and sitting courtside at many marquee sporting events, so why not casually plunk down a million-plus on a Super Bowl bet?

Of course, this could be a bad sign for the Rams if you believe in the notorious “Drake Curse.” After all, Drake has already taken down a number of different teams he has rooted for, including some in the NFL too.
