It will be a family affair at the Pro Bowl this year for Drew Brees, as his three sons were “hired” by Sean Payton to join his staff after they “crushed” the interview process with the New Orleans Saints head coach.

Payton will lead the NFC’s Pro Bowl squad, and Brees’ sons, Baylen, Bowen and Callen, will serve as ball boys. Sour Patch Kids evidently were somehow involved in working out the arrangement.

Brees shared on Instagram a photo of his three sons in an interview with Payton.

As part of the interview process, the three boys wrote letters to Payton. Baylen vowed to “hold Marshon Lattimore and [other] players’ gloves” with Bowen volunteering to “return punt and kicks” as well, per ESPN.

Brees, Payton and the Saints of course are coming off a stunning loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Sunday’s divisional-round showdown on Stefon Diggs’ incredible 61-yard touchdown that has been dubbed the “Minneapolis Miracle.”

While nothing will be able to take away the sting of such a gut-wrenching defeat, at least the Pro Bowl could perhaps provide a a distraction for all the Saints in attendance, thanks to the presence of Brees’ boys.
