Eagles HC Nick Sirianni rates A.J. Brown-Jalen Hurts sideline spat

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni reiterated Monday that he wasn't worried about wide receiver A.J. Brown's sideline argument with quarterback Jalen Hurts during the team's "Thursday Night Football" win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2.

Cameras caught Brown seemingly in a heated conversation with Hurts during the fourth quarter of the team's win as Philadelphia held a 27-14 lead. Instead of savoring the eventual victory, viewers speculated that Brown was complaining about his lack of involvement and/or lack of targets in the contest.

Notably, the two-time Pro Bowler did get multiple end zone looks following the sideline exchange, but one would-be touchdown was called back by a holding penalty, while the other fell incomplete.

Brown ended the game with just four catches for 29 yards, while fellow star wideout DeVonta Smith had four receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown. Tight end Dallas Goedert led the Eagles with six receptions on seven targets (following a one-target, no-reception Week 1 output), but they resulted in only 22 yards.

Outside of a couple of big hookups with Smith, all of Philadelphia's offense came via a dominant rushing attack.

For what it's worth, the 26-year-old former Tennessee Titan appeared to take ownership of the incident following the game as he was walking off the field.

Brown's next chance to record his first touchdown of the season comes in Week 3 when the Eagles take on the Tampa Buccaneers at 7:15 p.m. ET on the road on "Monday Night Football."
