The Philadelphia Eagles have made their Haason Reddick trade with the New York Jets official.
"Thank you, No. 7," the Eagles wrote on their team's X/Twitter account.
"We've agreed to terms with the New York Jets to trade Haason Reddick for a 2026 3rd-round pick that can upgrade to a 2026 2nd-round pick."
There's a chance the Eagles could turn that third-round pick into a second-round pick as long as Reddick plays 67.5% of the snaps and logs at least 10 sacks in 2024.
Reddick, 29, was initially hoping to get a new deal done with the Eagles, however, they weren't on the same page.
The Eagles had been looking to deal their star pass rusher since Super Bowl Sunday when they granted Reddick permission to seek a trade even though he didn't ask for it.
Reddick leaves Philly having made an impact after compiling 27 sacks over two seasons with the Birds.
It's an ironic trade considering the Eagles replaced Reddick by signing former Jets young sack leader Bryce Huff at the start of NFL free agency.
Reddick now replaces Huff in New York and steps into a projected starting role alongside veteran edge rushers Jermaine Johnson and John Franklin-Myers.
