The Philadelphia Eagles didn't want to risk losing their reliable punter Braden Mann in NFL free agency.

According to Pro Football Network's Adam Caplan, the Eagles agreed terms with Mann on a two-year, $4.2 million deal worth up to $5 million with $2.7 million guaranteed.

The Eagles initially signed man in Week 3 of the regular season to replace Arryn Siposs.

Mann's presence sparked positive conversation all season long as he set a new franchise record with a 43.9 net average and 49.8 gross average.

He became even more notably impressive as he averaged over 50 yards per punt in eight of the 11 games he suited up for the Birds.

Mann finished the 2023 season ranked eighth among all 32 punters.

The Eagles had a quieter day on Day 2 of NFL free agency.

In addition to re-signing Mann, the Eagles re-signed long snapper Rick Lovato.

They also added necessary depth to their offensive line by signing former Atlanta Falcons center/guard Matt Hennessy
