Philadelphia Eagles lead pass rusher Haason Reddick could be staying in Philly next fall after all.

According to several reports, the Eagles are looking to trade Reddick in exchange for a second-round pick but they have not yet found a trade suitor willing to pay that price.

And if they don't get what they're asking for then there's a chance Reddick won't be moved at all.

Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie spoke to reporters at the NFL annual league meetings on Tuesday where he may have hinted even further at the possibility of Reddick staying put in 2024.

"He's, by the way, a terrific player, great person, great background in Philadelphia," Lurie said. "It'll play itself out in a very good way."

Even though he never asked for it, Philadelphia granted Reddick permission to seek a trade on Super Bowl Sunday back in February.

Just a few days following the report, Reddick broke his silence and said that he would prefer to stay an Eagle but understood that it's a business at the end of the day.

Reddick is due $16 million this upcoming season and nothing is guaranteed so there's no doubt he wants a new contract and deserves one.

But from what Lurie briefly said it sounds like Reddick could get end up getting his wish as long as another team doesn't offer a second-round pick to Philly for him.

Reddick remaining on the Eagles' 2024 roster would be a dream scenario for the team's pass rush considering they just signed former New York Jets sack leader Bryce Huff in free agency.

We'll see how the next few weeks play out, but hopefully, it's a "very good" outcome for the Birds' defense.
