Philadelphia Eagles veteran defensive end Brandon Graham has confirmed recent rumors that he hopes to return for a 15th and final season.

Graham appeared on the latest "PHLY Sports" podcast where he revealed that he and the Eagles are close to agreeing on a new one-year deal.

"Things are happening in a positive way," Graham said "...For me, I know being here this long I'm just trying to help the team. I know me and Howie are going to get it done. I've got faith in that."

35-year-old Graham was active for all 17 games in 2023, however, he was limited to playing just 34% of the team's defensive snaps. He managed to register 16 combined tackles, three sacks and six QB hits with the little action he saw.

Last year Graham and the Eagles agreed on a one-year, $5 million deal. He'll likely be looking for the same amount in 2024 which is doable.

Graham, who officially becomes a free agent on March 11 and will have the option to sign with any team, was asked if Philly is the only destination for his farewell tour.

"Man, Philly has always been the only option since I got here," Graham said. "I really just feel like I'm so welcome here. It didn't start so good but winning the Super Bowl definitely changed my mind about this city. And then me sacking Tom Brady and that helped my cost, but man it was tough in the beginning. But now, things have been forgiven and it's been so welcoming. I'm just trying to make sure that Philly knows that. That I'm going to ride with them until the end."
