Tom Brady did not have a good night against the Rams. Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Tom Brady entered Week 11 with a mixed bag of results in his first season as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback. He threw three touchdowns in a 46-23 win over the Carolina Panthers last week. One game prior to that, Brady was picked off three times in a blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints on national television.

The bad Brady apparently showed up against the Los Angeles Rams on “Monday Night Football.” That included potentially the worst interception of the six-time Super Bowl champion’s career. This is not an exaggeration.

This led directly to a Rams touchdown and a 24-17 lead. From there, things did not get any better for Brady. That included a double pass, something you see at a Pop Warner level.

In case you had not figured it out yet, this is illegal.

Tampa Bay would go on to fall to 7-4 on the season by virtue of a 27-24 loss to the Rams after Brady was picked off for a second time late in the fourth quarter. For his part, Brady went 26-of-48 for 216 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Brady is now on pace to throw an 11-year high 13 interceptions on the season. He’s been picked off five times over the past three games.

Those watching Brady’s performance Monday night had their reactions.
