A University of Alabama alumnus from this NFL Draft class is under a rookie contract.
JC Latham, a former offensive tackle for the Crimson Tide, inked his deal on Friday for the Tennessee Titans.
He was the first of 10 players selected as he came off the board at No. 7 overall.
Latham is excited to help quarterback Will Levis be successful in Tennessee, but he wants to help the Titans become a consistent playoff team. He took the field for his first day of rookie minicamp in Nashville (Tenn.), but the contract he signed is a four-year deal worth $26 million. Latham’s contract is fully guaranteed with a fifth-year option. The 6-foot-6, 342-pounder made first-team All-Southeastern Conference in 2023, aiding Alabama to an SEC Championship and a College Football Playoff appearance.
He arrived as a five-star in the 2021 signing class, but Latham captured two SEC title rings (2021, 2023) and two CFP appearances (2021, 2023). He is prepared to become a star for the Titans up front.
