Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is under fire for getting very little done this offseason, especially after he claimed to be “all in” after the 2023 campaign ended.

Count former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III as the latest person to criticize Jones.

During a recent episode of ESPN’s "Get Up," Griffin said the Cowboys are having the worst offseason in the league and questioned how you can possibly be “all in” on your team if you are “all out” on your three best players, referencing quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and edge rusher Micah Parsons.

“The Dallas Cowboys haven’t extended Dak Prescott, anonymous sources in the organization don’t like Micah Parsons and they haven’t paid CeeDee Lamb yet,” Griffin posted to his X account. “You can’t be all in and be all out on your 3 best players. Stop the madness with these distractions and pay these guys already.”

The Cowboys seem prepared to head into next season with Prescott playing out the final year of his deal and then testing free agency next March.

Prescott is reportedly seeking $60 million annually, a price Dallas evidently does not feel comfortable paying.

It’s hard to blame the Cowboys for not wanting to dole out that type of contract to Prescott, especially when there is no evidence that any other teams would offer him that money.

It may actually end up being a wise business decision on the part of Jones and Dallas’ front office to allow Prescott to hit the market and then potentially re-sign him for around $50M to $55M per year rather than the $60M he supposedly wants.

Lamb is also getting set to enter the last year of his contract, and there has been talk he could potentially hold out if the Cowboys don’t get a deal done with him.

Meanwhile, Parsons became eligible for a contract extension this offseason.

It’s important to note that Dallas is very tight against the salary cap, so it needs to be careful with every nickel and dime it spends.
