It was clear that when the Pittsburgh Steelers opened free agency by signing QB Russell Wilson, tenured QB Mason Rudolph was going to find a new team.

And he did just that, signing with the Tennessee Titans to be Will Levis's mentor and backup.

But before Rudolph embarks on his next journey he said one last goodbye to Pittsburgh:

Mason says his Goodbyes

For the past 6 years, it has been a privilege to be part of the Pittsburgh community and represent the Pittsburgh Steelers. To my teammates, coaches, staff, Art Rooney, the Rooney family, Thomas Tull, Larry Paul, and the rest of the Steelers organization: Thank you for changing my life forever six years ago when you gave me the opportunity to wear the Black & Gold. To the fans—your love and passion for the team is what makes it so special to play here. I will never forget playing in front of Yinz one final time this past December. All the Best. MR.

A second-round pick out of Oklahoma State in 2018, Rudolph leaves the Steelers after six years in Pittsburgh that included an 8-4-1 record across 13 starts where he recorded over 3000 passing yards, 19 TDS ad 11 interceptions.
