Former Steelers WR Martavis Bryant signs with CFL's Argonauts

Martavis Bryant isn't allowed to play in the NFL, so the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver is taking his talents north of the border.

Bryant has signed a deal to join the Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts, the team announced Monday.

Bryant, who is currently suspended by the NFL, was reinstated in 2017 after missing the entire 2016 campaign for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. He was then suspended indefinitely for violating the terms of his reinstatement.

In 44 games between the Steelers and Raiders, Bryant reeled in 145 catches for 2,183 yards and 17 touchdowns. He was a fourth-round pick out of Clemson in 2014.
