The Green Bay Packers are preparing for their Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Detroit Lions. They will likely be without one of their best offensive weapons. Luke Musgrave is dealing with an abdomen injury and it seems to be pretty serious.

Green Bay Packers Luke Musgrave Abdomen Injury

According to Matt LaFleur, Musgrave has been in the hospital with the injury.

“He’s got a pretty significant injury. I think it speaks to his toughness. He didn’t say anything all game but then something came up and he called Flea (head athletic trainer Bryan Engel). He’s been in the hospital. It’s been pretty significant. This kid is as tough as they come.”

LaFleur called it a “scary situation” that happened at some point during their week 11 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. He confirmed that it was not related to his appendix and would provide further updates as information became available.

Not The Only Injury

The Packers can’t seem to stop being bitten by the injury bug. Jayden Reed showed up on the injury report today with Dontayvion Wicks already in concussion protocol. On the defensive side of the ball, Quay Walker is still nursing an injury with Jaire Alexander doing the same. Aaron Jones is week to week though it is unlikely he will play on Thursday. The depth of this team will be tested as they take on one of the NFC’s best.

Everyone is hoping for the best for Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave. Even if he is out a couple of weeks the main concern right now is that he is okay.
