Cleveland Browns tight end Harrison Bryant is expected to be back in action soon for the team according to a report from Mary Kay Cabot.

According to her source, Bryant should return to the team "pretty soon.' This is great news, first and foremost for his personal health but also for the team. Harrison has been out for over two weeks with an undisclosed medical condition that the team hasn't been at liberty to discuss.

Being less than two weeks away from the team having to cut down to an initial 53 man roster, this allows the Browns the ability to have three solid options at the tight end position. This also prevents General Manager Andrew Berry from having to perform any additional roster gymnastics through injury designations.

With Bryant out the past few weeks, it has allowed opportunities for the players behind him on the depth chart. Both Zaire Mitchell-Paden and undrafted free agent Thomas Greaney have looked serviceable in their roles and have played well enough to potentially end up on the practice squad.

Miller Forristall who rejoined the team after Bryant was sidelined, had an outstanding performance and showed a nice chemistry with rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson in last Friday's preseason game against the Commanders. He ended up with 4 catches for 66 yards, while looking more explosive compared to last season.
