The Houston Texans could soon be making a big move in free agency or several more smaller moves. They recently did something that would suggest something is coming; we just don't know what they will do.
On Friday, the Texans restructured offensive tackle Tytus Howard's contract to free up $10 million in cap space, putting the Texans at around $30 million in total cap space.
This gives the Texans plenty of money to sign another free agent, or a few more even. There are still some bigger names out there as well that the Texans could target, whether it be free agency or by trade.
Former Denver Broncos All-Pro safety Justin Simmons and former Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore are among the two bigger names remaining in free agency on the defensive side of the ball. Wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Michael Thomas are some of the remaining big-name guys on offense.
Obviously, other names may be better fits, but these are some of those big, splashy names that fans want to see.
