How Ravens can fill glaring hole following NFL Draft

The Ravens still have a glaring hole at cornerback following the 2023 NFL Draft. Here's how they should address the position.

Baltimore did add CB Kyu Blu Kelly in the fifth round, but the team can't expect him to start across from CB Marlon Humphrey on day one.

The easy choice is to bring back veteran CB Marcus Peters who's played for the Ravens the past three seasons where he's totaled 138 tackles, eight interceptions, 25 passes defensed and six forced fumbles. Peters is still a free agent and shouldn't cost too much at 30 years old.

However, if Baltimore wants to get younger at the position, CB Rock Ya-Sin could be a viable option as well. Ya-Sin is still only 26 and has 183 tackles, two interceptions, 27 passes defensed and two forced fumbles in his four-year career.

Ya-Sin also visited the Ravens in March, so both sides clearly have an interest in one another.

Baltimore may sign both players if they feel the need to as well. The Ravens' cornerback room is quite thin, and the two veterans could provide some much-needed insurance.

Either way, Baltimore still needs to add to the room and things could certainly be worse as there are still some talented free agents available.
