The Jacksonville Jaguars need all the help they can get at the wide receiver position, and they may be turning to a five-time Pro Bowler for some assistance.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL media, free-agent wide out Jarvis Landry is expected to participate in the Jaguars’ rookie camp.

Landry last played in the league with the New Orleans Saints in 2022, appearing in nine games and logging 25 catches for 272 yards and a touchdown.

The 31-year-old, who played his collegiate football at LSU, was originally selected by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He spent the first four years of his career with the Dolphins before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in March 2018.

Between 2015 and 2019, Landry made five straight trips to the Pro Bowl, posting three seasons of over 1,000 yards. He led the league with 112 receptions in 2017, but his best overall campaign came in 2019, when he caught 83 passes for 1,174 yards and six scores.

Landry spent four years with the Browns, but over his last couple of seasons with the team, his production waned, and in March 2022, Cleveland released him.

He then spent one season with the Saints and was without a team in 2023.

The Jaguars lost Calvin Ridley to free agency. They signed Gabe Davis last month and drafted Brian Thomas Jr. in the first round last week, but they could still use some depth in their receiving corps.

We’ll see if Landry has anything left in the tank and if he is able to make Jacksonville’s roster.
