The New York Jets' offensive line amazingly suffered another blow on Sunday afternoon against the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park.

Already deploying their seventh different starting O-line combination in 10 games this season, the Jets lost another starter due to injury. Left tackle Mekhi Becton, who hasn't missed a game in 2023, went down late in the first quarter and limped off to the sideline.

After spending a short time in the blue medical tent, Becton was seen on a cart heading into the locker-room. The Jets have subsequently listed the behemoth bookend as questionable to return with an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, fourth-round rookie Carter Warren has come off the bench in relief of Becton. Warren had not taken an offensive snap prior to Sunday's game at Buffalo. The Pitt product landed with the Jets at No. 120 overall in this past April's NFL Draft.

Heading into 2023, Becton had missed 33 consecutive regular season contests due to right knee problems. The former first-round pick appeared to turn a corner this fall.

The Jets' offensive line has already lost starting right tackle Alijah Vera-Tucker to a season-ending Achilles rupture. Center Connor McGovern and backup guard Wes Schweitzer are currently on Injured Reserve. Backup tackle Billy Turner is a gameday inactive for the second week in a row due to a surgically-repaired finger.
