Jets rookie QB Zach Wilson leaning toward wearing No. 2

New York Jets rookie quarterback Zach Wilson still hasn't decided which number he'd like to wear in the NFL despite being spotted at the first day of rookie minicamp sporting No. 2.

However, Wilson admitted Saturday that he's leaning toward wearing No. 2 because he likes "any single-digit numbers" and thinks being the second overall pick is a "cool reason to switch it up."

Via SNY:

Wilson wore No. 's 1 and 11 at BYU. He more recently wore No. 1.

The 21-year-old has made a solid impression on his new teammates in New York thus far. Earlier this week, wide receiver Elijah Moore raved about Wilson's leadership skills, saying, "I could tell he's like a general."
