New York Jets defensive lineman Quinnen Williams is recovering from foot surgery and should be ready to go before the start of the regular season.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Williams had successful surgery on Thursday with Dr. Robert Anderson to repair a broken bone in his foot. The expected recovery timeline is 10-12 weeks, which means Williams may miss some of training camp or the preseason.

Williams has emerged as a solid player for the Jets since being drafted third overall in 2019.
Last season, the 23-year-old recorded seven sacks, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, 55 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss and 14 quarterback hits.
