Jim Irsay offers 'Super Thank You Dream News Year's Trip' to beleaguered Colts fans

It has not been a good season for the Indianapolis Colts. At the very least for Indy fans, there is hope that complacency has not set in, though.

The Colts, 4-10-1, have been disappointing. The record states it, and the eyeball test while watching the team play confirms the suspicions. At the very least, owner Jim Irsay is willing to admit as much. Some NFL "big wigs" are content to bury their heads in the sand as long as tickets are being sold, but Irsay clearly is not content with this season.

He, of course, fired head coach Frank Reich earlier this season after a 3-5-1 start. He's also putting his money where his mouth is regarding the fan experience.

He knows it's not good, but for 14 lucky fans, he's willing to make this season a memorable one — in a good way.

Irsay announced on Twitter that because this season has been so tough for fans of the Colts, he's going to fly seven groups of two out to New York to watch the team take on the New York Giants this weekend. All expenses will be paid for what Irsay is calling a "Super Thank You Dream News Years Trip."

These fans may be in store for yet another loss — the Colts have downed five straight under ESPN personality-turned-surprising head coach Jeff Saturday — but at least it will be free, and at least they'll get to ride on a cool jet.

Sometimes you just have to take the wins life gives ya.
