"When they go low, we go high." Words Manziel must have heard before. C. Morgan Engel-USA TODAY Sports

Michael Rapaport isn’t gaining a ton of fans these days. Just recently fired by Barstool Sports, the outspoken actor is finding himself in the news for all the wrong reasons.

That didn’t change on Saturday, when free agent NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel put Rapaport on absolute blast after the actor seemingly made fun of substance abuse and mental health.

Rap’s tweet is in response to Manziel displaying a shirt of the actor disguised as a clown. Not surprisingly, said product is currently being pimped by Barstool.

In response, Manziel had this to say.

Manziel, a former first-round pick of the Cleveland Browns, isn’t exactly a bastion of high character. With that said, the former Heisman winner is now sober after multiple off-field incidents during his time in the NFL. He’s also recently opened up about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Substance abuse itself is not funny. Mental health is also in no way funny. We stand with Manziel here.
