Kayvon Thibodeaux fires back at Jeff Saturday

Kayvon Thibodeaux fired back at Jeff Saturday on Wednesday, two days after the Indianapolis Colts head coach criticized the New York Giants rookie for his controversial celebration following sacking quarterback Nick Foles in Week 17.

During the second quarter of the Giants' 38-10 win over the Colts on Sunday, Thibodeaux celebrated a big hit on Foles by doing snow angels (on a snowless field). It was an awkward-looking scene with the defender performing his celebration right next to the former Super Bowl MVP signal-caller, who seemed to be convulsing in obvious pain on the ground.

Thibodeaux said he was not aware of Foles' injury at the time, but Saturday isn't buying it. On Monday, the former six-time Pro Bowl center called out both Thibodeaux and some of his own players, whom he felt didn't stick up for the quarterback.

Foles exited the game with a rib injury, didn't return and has already been ruled out for Week 18.

Saturday's Colts (4-11-1) will wrap up their season with a home game against the Houston Texans (2-13-1) at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. Thibodeaux's Giants (9-6-1) clinched their first playoff berth since 2016, locked into the No. 6 seed in the NFC postseason, and will face the Philadelphia Eagles (13-3) at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday on the road.
