The Jets have placed tight end CJ Uzomah on injured reserve, likely ending his season, and activated tight end Kenny Yeboah. Yeboah has been dinged up for much of this season but now gets the call to the active roster.
An undrafted free agent out of Ole’ Miss, Yeboah has bounced back and forth between the Jets active roster and practice squad over the course of his career but does bring an interesting skill set. An athletic pass catcher whose blocking has improved since joining the Jets, Yeboah will have a hard time contributing much over the final weeks of the season on an offense that pays little to no notice to their tight ends.
