The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are inducting Jon Gruden into their Ring of Honor before Monday night’s game, and at least one member of the team plans to pay tribute to the former coach with his footwear.

Bucs linebacker Kwon Alexander unveiled his custom cleats in an Instagram post on Sunday. While certainly flattering to Gruden, they are also quite creepy.

Gruden earned the nickname “Chucky” because people think he looks like the murdering doll from the horror movie “Child’s Play.” We know Gruden isn’t offended because he once admitted that he has worn a Chucky mask on Halloween nearly 20 years in a row.

With rumors swirling that Dirk Koetter could be on the hot seat and Gruden leaving open the possibility that he could return to coaching, you have to wonder if Alexander and other players are trying to quietly convince the Super Bowl champion coach to finally leave his broadcasting gig with ESPN.
