LB Khalil Mack following three-sack debut with Chargers: 'It wasn't good enough'

Khalil Mack had a monster debut with the Los Angeles Chargers in their Week 1 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, recording five tackles, four quarterback hits, 3.0 sacks and one forced fumble. Still, Mack thinks he needs to improve his game as soon as possible.

"It wasn't good enough. I left a lot of stuff out there and I have to get it corrected," per the Associated Press.

According to NFL.com's Kevin Patra, Sunday's performance was Mack's first game with at least 3.0 sacks since Week 14 of the 2015 season, when he played with the then-Oakland Raiders.

"Mack became only the fifth non-rookie to have three-plus sacks in a debut with a new team (since individual sacks were first recorded in 1982) Others: Jags' Calais Campbell in 2017 (4.0) and Chiefs' Vonnie Holliday in 2003, Colts' Chad Bratzke in 1999 and Falcons' Gary Burley in 1984 (each 3.0)," Patra wrote.

Los Angeles acquired the six-time Pro Bowl linebacker in a trade with the Chicago Bears in March.

Mack and the rest of the Chargers will travel to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2 at 8:15 p.m. ET on "Thursday Night Football."
