Leonard Fournette would 'love to be back' with Buccaneers

Fresh off a Super Bowl win, Leonard Fournette is now set to hit the free-agent market, and while the running back is keeping his options open, he says he would "love" to return to Tampa Bay.

"We'll see. Right now, I'm just enjoying the process right now with this W, with this organization and my team," Fournette said during an appearance on "First Take." "You never know what the future holds for me right now, you know? ... I'd love to be back. We'll have to talk to my agent and see what they're talking about."

After spending his first three seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Forunette signed a one-year deal with the Buccaneers that gave him a $2 million base salary with an additional $1.5 million in possible incentives. Fournette was mostly used in a backup role during the regular season, starting only three games and rushing for less than 400 yards.

However, once the Bucs reached the postseason, "Playoff Lenny" emerged. Over four playoff games, Fournette rushed for 300 yards and three touchdowns while averaging 4.7 yards per carry, establishing himself as an essential part of the Bucs offense during the Super Bowl run. He had one of his best performances during the Super Bowl win over the Chiefs, carrying the ball 16 times for 89 yards and a touchdown.

His impressive postseason performance has likely increased his value on the free-agent market, but it sounds like Fournette is open to returning to the Bucs for the right price.
