The 2024 NFL offseason will go a bit differently than years past for the Los Angeles Rams.
During the NFL Scouting Combine, Rams general manager Les Snead revealed the team will actually take a more aggressive approach to adding talent to the roster.
“Sean [McVay] and I, at the core, like to attack — we believe in being aggressive,” Snead said. “Hopefully, it’s not crazy. But I can say that Sean and I do have in our DNA an element of, you know, let’s call it, ‘We’re not going to be scared to try to go win a gold medal.’”
What remains in question is what being aggressive looks like for the Rams.
The 2023 NFL Draft gave the Rams an injection of life.
Puka Nacua broke several rookie receiver records and allowed Matthew Stafford to find himself again. But the Rams are due for a remodel.
L.A. will have over $40 million in cap space to utilize this offseason, according to OverTheCap.
That is a number placing the Rams in the top 12 in the league for cap space.
Trading the team's first-round pick is also still an option. But either way, the Rams plan to be aggressive in retooling. After that, the jury is still out.
