Matt Judon: Patriots aiming to be 'a-holes' on defense

The New England Patriots dominated the Atlanta Falcons offense in a shutout, 25-0 win on "Thursday Night Football."

New England entered the game with the second-fewest points allowed in the NFL and now allow just 16.1 points per game through 11 weeks. Only the Buffalo Bills, who allow 15 points per game, are playing stingier defense than the Patriots are.

“We kind of want to be a-holes on the field," Patriots defensive end Matt Judon told reporters after the win, via Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic. "We play within the rules and don’t want to get penalized. We’re a nasty group.”

Judon, 29, pushed his season sack total to 10.5, making him the first Patriots player since 2015 to reach double-digit sacks. He was signed by the Patriots to a four-year, $56 million contract in free agency after spending the first five seasons of his career with the Baltimore Ravens.

Patriots cornerback J.C. Jackson told reporters that the team has "one of the best defenses in the league.”

New England will next host the Tennessee Titans in Week 12 before a key divisional game against the Bills in Week 13.
