Myles Murphy is showing out more and more each week as the Bengals first-round pick sees the game "slowing down" around him. Murphy isn't high on the major rookie counting stats but he's been very efficient as a rusher with consistent snaps coming since Week 10.

Murphy sports 17 tackles and three sacks on the season, but is third among rookies in pass rush productivity and pass rush grade on PFF.

"What's happening on the field is just an accumulation of the small pieces, little tweaks that the vets and coaches are making on me every day," Murphy said to All Bengals reporter Elise Jesse. "It just shows up every day. Just getting better and better. Stacking pennies, it's all starting to add up."

The increasing impact from Murphy over more snaps down the stretch could be a big boon, especially with DJ Reader going down for the season and weakening the front-seven depth.

Cincinnati could use a few big plays from its top 2023 selection.
