Ndamukong Suh to join Tom Brady, re-sign with Buccaneers on one-year deal

It looks like new Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will get some more help for the 2020 season.

Defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh reportedly agreed to re-sign with the Buccaneers on a one-year, $8 million deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

In his first season with the Bucs, Suh recovered four fumbles and returned two for touchdowns. The 33-year-old also had 2.5 sacks, 22 solo tackles, seven tackles for a loss and 14 quarterback hits.

He was a major part of Tampa Bay's defense last season and will continue to be a strong presence for Bruce Arians' Tampa defense moving forward.

The five-time Pro Bowler was the second overall pick by the Detroit Lions in the 2010 NFL Draft and used to cause Brady plenty of trouble when he played for the New England Patriots' AFC East-rival Miami Dolphins from 2015-2017.

Now that the two are on the same team, the Buccaneers have a really solid chance at making a deep playoff run in 2020.
