New Orleans BBQ restaurant bans Bucs' WR Mike Evans 'for life' after brawl with Saints

This week, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans found out the hard way that there are consequences to your actions.

The NFL suspended Evans for one game for his role in Sunday's on-field brawl between the Buccaneers and NFC South rival, the New Orleans Saints. But that wasn't the only punishment sent Evans' way.

Immediately after the skirmish on Sunday, Blue Oak BBQ in New Orleans banned Evans from their establishment for life.

And just in case Evans had any ideas about trying to evade his lifetime banishment, Blue Oak BBQ placed a sign fit with Evans' picture reading, "This is a NO Mike Evans establishment."

Buccaneers fans allegedly responded by flooding the interwebs with negative reviews for Blue Oak BBQ.

So far, Evans has been the only person to receive punishment, even though several players and team personnel were involved in the melee to some extent.

Despite the announcement of Evans' punishment, the story is still lingering. Former Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians received a warning letter from the league this week after footage showed him verbally agitating the situation from the sidelines. Also, Arians and the Buccs are in more hot water as they try to explain why the former coach was on the sidelines in the first place.
