Depth at wide receiver is a clear need for the New Orleans Saints. Behind Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed, most of their depth is unproven, and they simply need more bodies at the position.
Reinforcements are headed their way, though.
The Saints are signing former Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson to a two-year deal.
Wilson has experience in the "Shanahan offense" after spending time in Miami. Accordingly, he has familiarity with the scheme that new Saints OC Klint Kubiak will run in New Orleans.
Last season, Wilson totaled 296 yards on 22 catches and 3 touchdowns.
