There are a handful of very playable survivor pool options in Week 16. We’ll preview all of them before finalizing our survivor pool analysis in Ryan Reynold's Saturday morning betting preview. You can also check out our survivor pool channel in our free Discord.

WEEK 16 SURVIVOR POOL PICKS

Buffalo Bills (at Los Angeles Chargers)

Spread: Bills -14

Easton Stick’s Los Angeles Chargers lost to the Las Vegas Raiders, 63-21, last Thursday night. That horrifying loss led to the firing of coach Brandon Staley, among others.

Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills just blew out the Dallas Cowboys, 31-10, for the Bills' fifth three-score win of the season. There’s no such thing as a sure thing in survivor, but Buffalo is close this week.

However, the New England Patriots beat the Bills, 29-25, back in Week 7. Additionally, weather can be a major factor in Buffalo in late December. If you still have the Bills, this is the best week to use them, but they are also very playable against New England.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 17 vs. NE

Philadelphia Eagles (vs. New York Giants)

Spread: Eagles -10.5

If Jalen Hurts is a go, expect the Philadelphia Eagles to be two-score favorites in the team's remaining matchups. In this week’s tilt with the New York Giants, Philadelphia’s pass rush will have a trench advantage against New York’s bottom-tier offense.

As long as Hurts plays, the Eagles are viable in every game through the rest of the season.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 17 vs. ARI, Week 18 at NYG

Kansas City Chiefs (vs. Las Vegas Raiders)

Spread: Chiefs -10

We saw the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Raiders, 31-17, in Week 12. The Raiders are coming off a ridiculously lopsided win over the Chargers on Thursday night. While Las Vegas deserves credit, that blowout had more to do with the Chargers’ futility than anything else. That said, the Chiefs are an excellent option this week.

There is some chance Kansas City will be able to rest some of its starters in the regular season finale. If the team doesn't, its Week 18 matchup with Stick’s Chargers is also a very strong option.

Best Remaining Matchup: Week 18 at LAC

Denver Broncos (vs. New England Patriots)

Spread: Broncos -5.5

The Denver Broncos are not a safe option, but they will be highly motivated this week and have a better roster than the Patriots. If you only have thin options this week, Denver is the best of that group.

In Week 17, the Broncos will head to Los Angeles; the Chargers (with Stick at quarterback) are a team to target in survivor pools through the rest of the season. Denver is playable in Week 18, but it is a better option against the Patriots and in Week 17.

Best Remaining Matchups: Week 17 vs. LAC, Week 18 at LV

Green Bay Packers (at Carolina Panthers)

Spread: Packers -4

The Green Bay Packers cannot be trusted, as we've seen against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Giants over the past two weeks. Still, the Carolina Panthers are the worst team in football, and the Packers’ defense could conceivably win this game on its own.

Best Remaining Matchups: None
