The tributes for retired NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski will keep on pouring in because he is a special player.

He was one of the best to play the game, as proven by his four All-Pro and five Pro Bowl selections.

He also owns the record for most touchdowns by a tight end in a season.

More importantly, he won four Super Bowls, three with the New England Patriots.

His last Super Bowl win happened when he suited up with Tom Brady for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

They demolished the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV, a game wherein Gronkowski caught two touchdowns.

But while a championship with another franchise cemented his Hall of Fame legacy, the victory party was just as epic.

Who could forget this scene wherein Brady threw the Vince Lombardi Trophy to Gronkowski?

It’s not that they were on solid ground because they achieved the stunt in moving boats.

A sudden gust of wind could have swayed the trophy in another direction, giving Gronkowski no chance to catch it.

If he didn’t receive the trophy, it would take time before they could find it.

Worst yet, they might not find it at all.

Brady And Gronkowski Delivered In The Clutch Yet Again

But even in celebrations, this quarterback-tight end tandem never fails to rise above the occasion.

Brady made a perfect throw while Gronkowski was quick enough to catch the trophy.

It’s a light moment that proves that it was really their time to win.

Unfortunately, the Brady-Gronkowski connection might not be seen again on the field, unless Brady comes calling.

However, it looks like Gronkowski is ready to begin his post-football life and there are several opportunities he can explore.
