NFL Week 12 best teaser

We've dropped back-to-back NFL teasers for the first time in a while, but we're confident this teaser gets us back on track. Why? Because we're the taking the best team in the NFL on the under in the Denver Broncos and the red-hot Washington Commanders

Nathaniel Hackett gave up his offensive play-calling duties last week, but still, the Broncos offense remains a trainwreck. Denver did manage 320 yards of total offense last week, but only scored 16 points. However, despite trading Bradley Chubb before the trade deadline, Denver's defense remains elite. And best of all, the Broncos are the best team in the NFL against the under at 9-1.

But if that doesn't give you enough confidence in taking the under between Denver and Carolina, just keep reading and you’ll soon find out why. The Broncos haven't scored more than 23 points in a game this season and have scored the fewest points in the NFL. As for the Panthers, well, they're just starting their third different quarterback after naming Sam Darnold this week's starter.

Carolina managed just three points in last week's defeat to Baltimore, and it might not matter who starts at QB simply because this offense has a ton of problems. The Panthers are second-last in total offense, and are fifth in the league with 15 turnovers. So, not only do the Panthers struggle to move the ball, they also turn it over a ton. And maybe worst of all, the Panthers' offense isn't improving.

However, Carolina's defense is. The Panthers allowed just 13 points last week to Baltimore, and the week before that, allowed just 15 points to Atlanta. Both these teams have played in lot of low scoring games, and with the teaser moving the total points up to 42, there's no reason not to take the under.

Meanwhile Washington has won five of its last six games, and absolutely dominated the league's worst Houston Texans last week. But with the teaser you don't even need the Commanders to win this week; you just need them to lose by one. And Atlanta is going to have a real tough time coming away with a win after placing tight end Kyle Pitts on IR earlier this week.

Washington's offense really struggled early in the season, but since Taylor Heinicke has taken over at quarterback, the Commanders offense has looked a whole lot better. And more importantly, the Commanders are winning with Heinicke, which wasn't the case with Carson Wentz under center. Best of all, Ron Rivers made it very clear that Taylor Heinicke is the team's starting quarterback, putting an end to any potential QB controversy.

And don't forget Washington's defense is allowing slightly over 20 points a game and hasn't allowed more than 21 points in a game in seven consecutive games. And that was without stud defensive end Chase Young, who is expected to make his season debut on Sunday. Add a healthy Young to the mix, and Washington might just have the best defense in the NFL. This game might be close, but betting against Washington is bad idea.

The Teaser: Denver Broncos/Carolina Panthers (Under 36 points) to (Under 42 points) AND Washington Commanders (-4) to (-2) (-108 odds via Barstool)
