NFL Week 16 Best Teaser

We're officially on the cusp of scorching hot after hitting on our NFL best teaser last week, and we've got another dandy for Week 16. Not quite as hot as grandma's hot chocolate fresh off the stove, but darn close. Following last week's comfortable win, we've now hit on a season-best four straight teasers, and seven of our last nine.

Not bad, right? But why stop now? There's still three weeks remaining in the regular season, and what's stopping us from winning out. Hopefully nothing.

Christmas is time for giving, and the Bengals (+3) on the teaser is a gift that even Kris Kringle himself approves of. And with the Ravens down Lamar Jackson for a third straight game, there's no reason not to take the under between Baltimore and Atlanta.

The Ravens managed just three points against Cleveland last week, and while we expect Baltimore to score around 20 this week, the under of 41.5 points against Atlanta is too good to pass up. Baltimore is tied for second-best in the NFL against the under at 10-4, and without Jackson running the show, the Ravens offense looks like hot garbage.

Baltimore has scored 10 or less points in four of its last five games, and just as important, the defense has allowed 14 points or less during that span. And best of all, the Ravens are 5-1 against the under in its last six games. Meanwhile Atlanta has scored 19 points or less in its last three games, and are 3-0 against the under in its last three games.

With both teams searching for answers in the passing game, expect a limited amount of passing, and a busy day for the special teams units. Don't be surprised if either team fails to score 20 points, which makes the under of 41.5 that much more likely of hitting.

As for our other leg, take the Bengals (+3), courtesy of the teaser, against the Patriots. Even after trailing by 17 points against Tampa Bay last week, Cincinnati still managed to covered the spread against the Bucs, and are now the best ATS in all of football at 11-3.

Joe Burrow and the Bengals have won six straight games, and with New England still searching for answers on offense, Cincinnati losing in this one is a long shot. But if they do lose, don't expect it to be by more than a field goal.

Bill Belichick and the Pats may very well be coming off the most demoralizing lost in franchise history after Jacobi Meyers threw one of the worst lateral passes in the history of mankind last week, and who knows how New England is going to respond. And to top it off, New England has dropped three of its last four, and the Patriots are going to need Santa's biggest miracle if they're going to make the playoffs.

With Cincinnati clicking on all cylinders and New England desperate for answers, there's no reason why you shouldn't take the Bengals over the Pats. But thanks to the teaser, you don't even need Cincinnati to win for the leg to hit. You just need the Bengals to lose by less than a field goal.

The Teaser: Bengals (-3) to (+3) and Falcons/Ravens (under 35.5 points) to (under 41.5 points) (-108 odds via Barstool)
