There is no doubt that the duo of quarterback Aidan O'Connell and Jakobi Meyers had special chemistry for the Silver and Black offense throughout the 2023-24 NFL regular season, especially toward the end of the season.

O'Connell finished the season with a Pro Football Focus grade of 65.9, a passing grade of 64.6, and a rushing grade of 61.6. In his rookie season with the Silver and Black, O'Connell ended the season with a passer rating of 83.9, throwing for 2,218 yards, 12 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in 12 games since taking over as the starting quarterback.

In his first season with the Raiders, Meyers ended the season with 71 catches for 807 yards and scored ten touchdowns in 16 games for the Silver and Back offense. Meyers finished the 2023-24 NFL regular season with a Pro Football Focus grade of 69.9, a receiving grade of 71.8, and a rushing grade of 70.0.

On Monday, both O'Connell and Meyers were guests on NBC's Fantasy Football Happy Hour, with Matthew Berry talking about the Raiders season, Antonio Pierce, and more.

O'Connell had the chance to speak about his and Meyers's chemistry throughout the 2023-24 NFL regular season.

"I think that was something before I was playing; we knew Jakobs was a special player. His story is awesome, you know. He was an undrafted guy to start his rookie year and then obviously had some great years. He just played well all year for us; he is a reliable guy. I think if you saw him at practice, you wouldn't be surprised. This guy works his butt off at practice, and so he's a great player and makes me look good a lot of the time."
