The Green Bay Packers injury report will be something to check out on Wednesday. The Packers have had some pretty big names on their injury reports this season. Considering the number of injuries this early in the season, the team has done well to come into Week 6 with a 3-2 record. But one injury would cause the Packers major problems, quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers admitted on "The Pat McAfee Show" he suffered an injury at the end of the Giants game. He said on the final play, he got “rocked.”

“My thumb is a little banged up. That’s the only spot that’s bothering me a little bit,” Rodgers said. The show’s hosts asked Rodgers if he could play against the New York Jets in Week 6.

“I think I’ll be able to spin it. I think it’ll feel better later in the week,” Rodgers answered.

A thumb injury for Rodgers would be a serious problem for the Packers. Rodgers needs to be able to thread the needle to put points on the board for the Packers. The passing offense has already been suspect for the team this season. If Rodgers can’t play, the Packers would need to turn to an inexperienced Jordan Love to lead the offense.

One silver lining: The Packers might rely more on the running game this week. After the game, the Packers running back Aaron Jones said he would have bet money the team could have gotten a key first down by running the ball. Many Packers fans criticized the pass-heavy play-calling following the defeat in London. The Packers attempted nearly double the number of passes than rushing attempts. Those numbers are even more frustrating when considering the Packers gave up a double-digit lead.
