Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Aaron Rodgers has said he will make a decision about his future fairly quickly this offseason, but there has been plenty of drama and speculation surrounding the Green Bay Packers star in recent weeks. It would appear even one of his longtime teammates is feeling it.

Rodgers ignited a firestorm of speculation with a late-night Instagram post on Monday. The 38-year-old had some emotional words for his (ex?) girlfriend Shailene Woodley, which left many wondering if Rodgers and the actress have actually split. Rodgers then thanked his Packers teammates and coaches using the past tense. You can see the full post here.

Shortly after the post went viral, Packers offensive lineman David Bakhtiari had a perfect reaction. Beware that his tweet contains a curse word.

Bakhtiari is close with Rodgers, so he might know more than the general public about the NFL MVP’s plans. Still, the reaction helped sum up how NFL fans are feeling.

Rodgers wanted out of Green Bay last offseason, but the issues were eventually resolved. He restructured his contract in a way that would allow him to play one more year in Green Bay and then leave. However, there have since been signs that the relationship between Rodgers and the team has improved dramatically.

Rodgers said after the Packers’ early playoff exit that he is not going to drag out his decision out of respect for everyone who is impacted. If he sticks to that, we should have more clarity on the situation in the very near future.
