Packers QB Jordan Love has one thing going for him: 'Great resiliency'

It hasn't been a great stretch for new Green Bay Packers starting quarterback Jordan Love.

He's thrown six interceptions in the past three games compared to just three touchdowns. His accuracy has been questionable as has been his decision-making. No, head coach Matt LaFleur's play calling hasn't done him any favors, nor has the young, mistake-prone offense around him, but Love has been objectively bad during Green Bay's three-game losing streak.

For his part, though, LaFleur does think Love has one thing going for him.

Frankly, at this point, resiliency is a great trait for Love to have.

Not only are the Packers a bad team right now, but Love also has the pressure of replacing Aaron Rodgers, who replaced Brett Favre.

Packers fans aren't known for their patience and they're certainly not used to below-average quarterback play. Heck, at this point, most would likely be happy if Love turned out average.

That's the type of pressure Love is under.

The good news is that plenty of great quarterbacks have started off slow. Peyton Manning threw 28 interceptions compared to 26 touchdowns in his rookie season. Troy Aikman threw 18 interceptions and just nine touchdowns.

Love has time to turn this around and he'll certainly get (at least) the rest of this season to figure it out in Green Bay.

It's going to take resiliency, though. At the very least, he has that going for him.
