It's no secret that the Carolina Panthers need to add a playmaker or two at receiver this offseason and one option that could be in play is making a trade for an established veteran.

Obviously, the Panthers don't have a ton of draft capital and would probably refrain from giving up additional first or second round picks. However, there are some receivers out there that they could make a move for without having to give up much.

Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department suggests a trade involving Jerry Jeudy of the Denver Broncos.

Proposed trade: WR Jerry Jeudy for CB Jaycee Horn, 2025 fourth-round pick.

"The Panthers need wide receiver help to get Bryce Young's career up and running. The Broncos need a second corner to complement Surtain on the other side. The Broncos would be saving precious cap space while addressing a need and adding to their draft pick war chest.

"A 2025 pick isn't quite as ideal as one in the upcoming draft, but the Panthers don't have much to work with after their trade to move up and get Bryce Young last year."

In four seasons with the Broncos, Jeudy has caught 211 passes for 3,053 yards and 11 touchdowns. Decent numbers, but not the type of production everyone thought he would have when he entered the league. Meanwhile, Horn has only managed to appear in 22 games over the course of three seasons.

I actually don't mind the idea of trading for Jeudy, but I'm not sure this is a fair trade for Carolina. The two were drafted in the first round one year apart, so if I were the Panthers, giving up a former first rounder and a future fourth for another former first rounder doesn't add up. I get Horn hasn't been able to stay on the field, but Denver is going to need to throw something else in this deal, even if it's a late day three pick.

Although Horn's injury history is a major concern, I'd do everything I could to hold onto him. When he's on the field, he's a shutdown guy. Jeudy hasn't proven to be anywhere near a No. 1 receiver at any point in his young career.
