Amid their coaching staff shake-up, the Philadelphia Eagles retained special teams coordinator Michael Clay ahead of the weekend and it looks like they're going to keep wide receivers coach Aaron Moorehead as well.

Per sources close to Jake Rabadi of Philly Birds Country, Moorehead will return in 2024 under new Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

Moorehead will enter his fifth season as the Eagles' wide receivers coach after originally joining the team in 2020.

Under Moorehead in 2023, A.J Brown reeled in 106 catches on 158 targets for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns through 17 games. He made history along the way, becoming the first player in the NFL to post six straight games of 100 receiving yards or more.

Meanwhile, DeVonta Smith logged 81 receptions for 1,066 yards and seven touchdowns in 16 contests this past season. With Moorehead's guidance, Smith has registered more receptions and receiving yards than any other Eagles player in his first three seasons in the league.

Additionally, Mooreheld helped Brown and Smith become the first 1,000-yard receiving duo in franchise history in 2022.

Before joining the Eagles, Moorehead coached Vanderbilt's wide receivers for two seasons. He then crossed paths with head coach Nick Sirianni while participating in the NFL's Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship with the Indianapolis Colts during the 2019 offseason.

The Eagles' decision to keep Moorehead on staff is a smart one given the consistent  success he's had with the team's receivers.
