Raiders' Davante Adams facing possible suspension for shoving cameraman
Despite holding a 17-0 first-half lead on "Monday Night Football," the Las Vegas Raiders fell to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in a 30-29 thriller in Week 5.
Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams had just three receptions, but made them count, hauling in two long touchdown catches and totaling 124 receiving yards.
On the team's final offensive drive, however, Adams and fellow wideout Hunter Renfrow ran into each other as quarterback Derek Carr tossed up one final fourth down heave, and Las Vegas turned the ball over on downs. The first-year Raiders player was caught on video shoving a cameraman to the ground following the contest.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the league is reviewing Adams' actions and a suspension could possibly be coming.
The former Green Bay Packers five-time Pro Bowler apologized during an interview with reporters after the contest and took to Twitter to post an apology as well.
Las Vegas is now on their bye week and will return to action in Week 7 at 4:05 p.m. ET on Oct. 23 against the Houston Texans.
