The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to be one of the busiest teams in the 2020 NFL Draft. Now, fans will be hoping the team takes over the three-day event in the name of charity after general manager Mike Mayock made an incredible pledge for COVID-19 relief on Tuesday.

Mayock will donate $1,000 for each draft pick he makes in the 2020 NFL Draft, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The money will go toward the Clark County Delivering with Dignity Program, which provides support to vulnerable families in Las Vegas with financial support during these difficult times.

The Raiders will head into the draft with seven draft picks, but it’s a near certainty that Mayock makes a few moves during the draft. The Raiders could trade down from the No. 19 overall pick, scooping up a late first-round selection and multiple Day 2 picks in return. If that happens, Mayock will get to add even more talent to his team’s roster and can donate even more money to an incredible cause.

The NFL community continues to do incredible work to provide support for those in need. The league will be holding a three-day telethon during the 2020 NFL Draft for multiple non-profit organizations providing COVID-19 relief. Players, coaches, and owners have donated more than $35 million in financial relief and the number continues to rise.
