The San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers have been preparing for the possibility of playing on a rain-soaked Levi's Stadium field in tonight's Divisional Playoff game, and it appears that will be the case.

With kickoff just hours away, weather forecasts indicate a 65 to 70 percent chance of rain at the game's start, with the downpour expected to persist throughout the matchup.

Rookie kicker Jake Moody is likely keeping a close eye on the winds. Santa Clara is currently experiencing nine-mile-per-hour winds, with gusts reaching around 19 miles per hour before kickoff. The temperature at kickoff is expected to be around 57 degrees, which, while on the colder side, is not as extreme as conditions faced in other playoff games around the NFL.

All things considered, the game conditions could have been much worse. It doesn't seem like the passing storm will significantly impact the field.

When questioned about the rainy forecast earlier this week and how it might affect the defense's strategy against the Packers offense, linebacker Fred Warner asserted, "It doesn't change anything. We're going to play the game no matter what."

Kickoff between the 49ers and Packers is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. PT.
