Rams reportedly working on re-signing eight-time Pro Bowl LB Von Miller
After seeing defensive end Randy Gregory pull a switcheroo and decide to go to the Denver Broncos, it was reported on Tuesday that the Dallas Cowboys were "doing due diligence" on future Hall-of-Famer Von Miller. However, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com and NFL Network, Miller could very well end up staying with the Super Bowl-champion Los Angeles Rams.
On Tuesday, Jane Slater -- also of the NFL Network -- reported that there was "very strong interest on Miller's part in heading to Dallas" and that he has a home "very close" to the team facility. The 32-year-old is a native of DeSoto, Texas and played college football at Texas A&M before being selected by the Broncos as the second overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.
In 15 games last season (seven with Denver and eight with Los Angeles), Miller recorded 50 tackles and 9.5 sacks. He spent the first 11-plus years of his career with the Broncos before being traded to the Rams in November and winning his second Super Bowl title.
Among his other career achievements are an AP Defensive Rookie of the Year Award, eight Pro Bowl nods, three All-Pro honors and a Super Bowl MVP.
